Ben's chickens

the chickens in happier days from a couple of weeks ago.....unfortunately we're pretty sure that one of those big dogs with the purple tongues (a chow, I think) was wandering around the yard today and ended the ideal life of two of them (Snowball and one of the dominickers--Esmerelda or Matilda--we're not sure because they looked like twins)....Ben saw feathers everywhere....Kenny discovered one chicken missing and one in bad shape...so, I hate that it happened because Ben loved his chickens...we were more worried about something getting them in the middle of the night, but once again dogs have killed some of our animals in broad daylight....3 goats, 3 cats, and now 2 chickens.

remember the building project we started last year I think....well, it's still going on, but hopefully it'll be almost done soon. It's going to be a fun place to hang out. Jonah likes helping too:)

Back to fun things...we went back to the fair last night and the kids got in a few more rides. Jonah rode a few and was so excited! I couldn't let the fair pass and not let Jonah go. He loved it! Even though it was hard getting 8 kids out to a crowded fair it was worth it to see them having fun and being happy.
