park, tea party, & peaks

fast forward to Halloween....remember the show The Munsters....well, Ben's supposed to be Herman:).....we didn't do a halloween thing this yr at our house(not that we've ever had a party....just something spur-of-the-moment w/ the kids depending on how exhausting a day it's been (I'm still scratching my head about the mix-up several yrs ago and how we got involved in some strange drama we didn't even know about....must be mistaken identity or mixed signals or something....everybody's always welcome to anything we do or ever will do--party or not...I try to remind people...remember how much we've got on our minds...lol). Anyway, usually, if things go well, we do a fun scavenger hunt (think Clue), make and bake halloween things, walk on the "haunted" path. This yr. just wasn't up to it as much (getting costumes ready was plenty)....but some of the kids went out getting candy and we're having hot dogs and fries and watching some Charlie Brown.....
