Savannah's 1st birthday; Brandon last month at the beach (we sure do miss him); Livy's 6th:)

Our Sept. and Oct. girls had good b.d's. Thankful for the love shown from those who thought about it...but I know we've got alot of kids and reminded it's hard to remember names, much less b.d.'s--lol.

Laura texted Brandon at CFAW to see how things were going. He's liking it a lot! The university is huge. I've never seen so many students. Savannah got to play with the mascot while we were there. She tried to pull his costume off. He'll be back tomorrow--yay--we miss him....it's not the same without Bran.

The last remaining chicken, Martha, is gone.....just when she started enjoying life again, happily eating leftover bread and kid crumbs, her eye was healing....figures that'd happened...well, actually I'm surprised the five of them made it 2 yrs..... And the parakeet's gone too....Ben's little blue bird he picked out several yrs ago at the pet store.........taken from it's cage by some thing...not sure what..probably all those stray cats running around, or a raccoon or whatever's out there. It's sort of sad and quiet at the chicken/bird house now. We miss them....of course, more now that they're gone (isn't that always the way?).Ben was cute today, blaze orange and a bb gun....and probably a hammer somewhere...he's going through a demolition stage with toy cars, etc., to put in his miniature junk yard. He's very creative. There's not too many like him....he's a really fun boy to be around!
