our kids love trying on hats....Livy looks so cute I think...they like to play dress-up.... Jonah's usually the dad or hunter--I think in this picture maybe he was a pirate--not really sure about that.....but anyway I was listening to music while they played.
only a month late, but here's a Christmas picture; Savannah being pushed in her little grocery cart....this is the rare occasion that she'll sit still long enough to give us a break from chasing her around the house getting into everything.....put her in the grocery cart to keep her occupied for 3 minutes--haha. I'm glad she figured out how to push it instead of swinging it around. it's so cute to see her go shopping and put stuff in her cart.
Brandon and Laura are taking a trip to D.C. today. It's calling for some freezing rain. Yuck. I hope not. I'll worry about them, bad weather or not, because Laura's never been, but they're in good hands and will have a good time with their friends. This part of winter is no fun....so dreary and cold....but looking on the bright side, it'll be spring in 2 months!
So....what can I get into today? Lots of things....a whole list of things to choose from. What do people do when they don't have a houseful of kids? let's see...read, watch t.v., rest/relax, get a manicure, discuss what other people are doing in their life--lol, etc. Who has time for those things? (jk--there's time for the first 4, just can't be as selfish about it--I don't think some people could ever give up the last one no matter how busy it got in their day). I can't remember what my life was like before--well, I do remember my job and getting up early to face the morning commute, working overtime to keep up with workload, trying to avoid office drama....so the grass isn't always greener. But keeping busy does make the day go by faster. Before you know it, it'll be time for Kenny to come home. And that's always one of the best parts of the day!
